Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to GreenCab. By accessing our website, booking a ride, or using our non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, vendors, customers, and contributors of content.

Service Eligibility & Booking

GreenCab provides transportation primarily for medical appointments, pharmacy visits, and related healthcare needs. To ensure reliable service:

  • Advance Notice: We strongly recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day requests are subject to availability.
  • Accuracy: You must provide accurate information regarding pickup locations, appointment times, and mobility needs (e.g., wheelchair accessibility).
  • Eligibility: For insurance or Medicaid-covered trips, you must provide valid coverage information prior to the trip.

Cancellations & No-Shows

We value punctuality and efficiency. Our cancellation policy is designed to keep our fleet moving for everyone:

  • Cancellations: Please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled pickup if you need to cancel or reschedule.
  • No-Shows: A "No-Show" occurs if the driver arrives at the pickup location and you are not present or refuse the ride. Repeated no-shows may result in a suspension of service or cancellation fees for private-pay clients.

Passenger Conduct & Safety

To ensure a safe environment for both drivers and passengers, we strictly enforce the following rules:

  • Safety Belts: All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion.
  • Prohibited Items: Smoking (including e-cigarettes), alcohol consumption, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited in GreenCab vehicles.
  • Behavior: Abusive language, harassment, or violent behavior towards drivers or other passengers will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the trip.

Limitation of Liability

GreenCab strives to be on time, every time. However, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Severe weather conditions, unexpected traffic congestion, road closures, or mechanical failures. In such events, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you and arrange alternative solutions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
